Decor

Since we separated the kids' and they each have their own rooms now I thought an artsy project would help them get excited. 
They were pretty sad and missing each other the first night, but then Nathan made this for his new room:

Needless to say, he has settled in quite nicely.

Kid Funny

While riding in the car.  I love the way cars bring up the most RANDOM thoughts.

Nathan: (totally out of the blue) "What do Dinosaurs eat?"
Me: "Some eat meat. Some eat plants and some eat both.  Do you know what the Dinosaur is called when it eats ONLY meat?"
Nathan: "Meat eater."
Me: "Well, yes. But you can also call them Carnivores.  And if they only eat plants they called a what?"
Nathan: "Vegetarian!  Like Gramma."
Me: "Ya kinda like Gramma. But Gramma eats fish too."
Cheyanne: "Ya. Like a Pteranodon."
Me: "Sure. (hesitating, because I have NO idea what that is). Yes. Pteranodon."
Nathan: "Fish is meat!"
Me: "Yes, but she's still not a Carnivore like you! There is a name for people like her. I can't remember what it is."
Nathan: "Shingamatsogonnakill. (shinga-mat-so-gonna-kill) That's what they call people like Gramma."

Kid Funny

Nathan had just thrown a heavy large ball at the wall in the living room.
Me: "Nathan!  Do we throw balls at the walls?"
Nathan: "No. Balls and walls rhyme."
Me: "Yes. They do."
Cheyanne: "Air Hockey Table and Mare Mockey Mable rhyme too."
Me: "Yes. Yes. They do."
