Disneyland!

We did it!  We took the stupid and long 6 hour drive to Disneyland!  And yes, it really is the happiest place on earth!

It was clean, the employees were all fantastic, it was happy and there was not one detail left untouched.  I was most impressed at the imagination of the people who designed the park.

Highlights of the trip:
-Meeting the Characters Mulan (who impressed Cheyanne GREATLY with her warrior skills), Ariel, Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, Jessie, Darth Vader, Storm Troopers, Buzz, Woody and Mickey and Friends.
-Princess Lunch at Ariel's Grotto
-The Parade
-Nathan and his epic meltdown which included a "spike stuck under his hair"
-Our awesome hotel which was closer to Disneyland than the parking lot.
-Cheyanne going on Space Mountain with Daddy.

We had a great time and can't wait to go back!

Ready to go!

Watching the Parade.

Princess Lunch!!

We met almost all the princesses, but Ariel was among the favorites.

Jessie!

I *gulp* turned. . . 30!

Yuck!

But it was inevitable.

Sal made it as painless as possible and threw me 2 parties.  He BBQ'd for the family then threw me an small surprise party the following weekend.

Then came the next weekend....Did you see the episode of Friends when all of them turned 30?  Remember Monica?  Well, all I can say is thank goodness my mother wasn't there.  From what I remember, it was loads of fun!

Mini T

Cheyanne has decided to play T-ball this year.  Lucky for us the Quito League has just added a MiniT league for 4 year olds only.  We were able to get her squeezed in at the last minute.  Strangely enough she landed a spot on one of her best buddies from schools team.  His dad is the coach too!

When it was time to go shopping for her pants and baseball socks at Big 5, she went dressed like this:

Gawd I love her.

Sports! Sports! Sports!

To avoid bored kids we like to have the kids enrolled in one sport per season.  Sometimes near the end of one season and the beginning of another, they over lap.  This weekend and last weekend that happened.  It has been crazy sports weekends x 2.  Thank god this is almost over.  Nathan handled it very well last Saturday so I'm not to worried about this weekend.  That kid has enough energy for both of us!

At 9:30 Nathan had his first skateboarding class at the Campbell Community Center.  He did better than I thought.  The teacher was probably not a day over 19, but hey, Nathan didn't mind!

Directly after skateboarding at 11am, we went to his Flag Football Game against the Raiders.  Go Seahawks!

Directly after his flag football game he ate a sandwich in the car and was ready for 12:30 baseball practice!  Go Red Sox!

He held up extremely well and actually laughed every time he had to change sports clothes in the car!  Thank goodness!
