While I was cooking breakfast this morning, Nathan was entertaining Austin. Austin was in his high-chair and Nathan was sitting leaning on it.
Nathan: "Hi Austin....Hello! Hey buddy!"
Austin: {gurgle, gurgle, coo, smile, gurgle, kick, flail, gurggle}
Nathan: {struggle to talk - watery eyes - grabbing throat - but still using a sing songy voice} "Mom"
Me: "Omg, are you ok?! What happened?"
Nathan: {still struggling to talk, all the while using a sing songy voice} "Austin just kicked me in the neck. Awwww, he's soooo cute"
