This year we went to SF to see the Blue Angels. I've never been and it was a total last minute idea. We took Cal Train from Sunnyvale (for an hour and a half) to the Embarcadero. We then walked to Pier 39. Again, it was last minute and we didn't plan very well. If we had we would have taken a bus from the train station instead of walking the 7 miles or whatever it was. Despite the never ending walk, the kids held up amazingly well and we had so much fun! It was a beautiful day in SF and blue sky for miles. We had a pretty good view of the Angels and thought they were amazing.
