For Mother's Day, my sister-in-law Stephanie posted an interview with her kids that she had gotten from another friend of hers. I loved the questions and her kids' answers so, I stole it :)

This is supposed to be done on Mother's Day but I forgot. The last one was July 3, 2010. So this is just about a year from then. That will work.

Birthday Interview - Time Capsule
Recently I got the idea from a book my friend Kim has to create a "Time Capsule". Its pretty similar to the concept of the "Mom Interview". I've come up with a list of questions that I will be asking my kids every year on/close to their birthdays. Here are Nathan's answers (verbatim).

Kid Interview - "Mommy Theme"
For Mother's Day, my sister-in-law Stephanie posted an interview with her kids that she had gotten from another friend of hers. I loved the questions and her kids' answers so, I stole it :)
The idea is to ask them every year or so the same questions, and see how their answers change.
**Mommy Interview/Take ONE - Nathan 4 1/2, Cheyanne 3**
1. What is something mom always says to you?
Nathan: No hitting Shy
Cheyanne: No punching Nathan
2. What makes mom happy?
Nathan: When we hug you and kiss you
Cheyanne: Playing babies and petting animals
3. What makes mom sad?
Nathan: That I don't like you and that your dumb
Cheyanne: Saying you. . . .I can't think about it right now
4. How does your mom make you laugh?
Nathan: By telling me funny words, funny jokes and funny secrets
Cheyanne: By telling . . . by you, um . . .tickling my belly
5. What was your mom like when she was a kid like you?
Nathan: Liked Legos
Cheyanne: Jewelery

Nathan: 17
Cheyanne: I can't remember. . . .16?

Nathan: 70 points. You're biiig!

Nathan: Play Legos and play those and play games
Cheyanne: Put dresses on
9. What does your mom do when you're not around?
Nathan: Well, you need exercise and run on the exermill.
Cheyanne: Go look for me

Nathan: You're fired. That means people are fancy and pretty and cute
Cheyanne: Putting the fan on for me
11. What is your mom really good at?
Nathan: Feeding Austin
Cheyanne: Making dinner
12. What is your mom not good at?
Nathan: Sometimes you don't remember to feed the cats
Cheyanne: Playing marbles
13. What does your mom do for a job?
Nathan: Goes to exercise
Cheyanne: Do silly things

Nathan: Zucchini

Nathan: That I built my Lego tow truck by myself and with no help at all from anyone. But you helped a little.

Nathan: Fixing the cartoon

Nathan: Go for walks and last time we went to Trader Joe's.

Nathan: We both have brown hair
Cheyanne: That we both wear purple clothes together

Nathan: Mommy has different clothes
Cheyanne: I'm wearing different clothes!
