These firemen were so sweet they took all 4 kids over to the firetruck which was parked accross the street and showed them around. They told them about the different hoses (which Nathan touched and got soot on his hands that he would NOT let me wash off to save his life..."its dirty from the fireman, mama"). They let them sit in the truck, hold their jackets and try on their hats. Once Shy sat in the firetruck Nathan immediately loosened up and was his normal curious and chatty self.

Firemen
Last Wednesday a good friend of mine Kim and her son Niko and daughter Kyra and us went to Jamba Juice. We sat outside and drank our smoothies next to a table of 3 firemen. When the kids were done, Niko went over to the firemen and told them all about when he split his chin open and the firetruck had to come help him. Nathan was so star struck (as he usually is around people in uniform) he wanted nothing to do with them.
