Last summer we bought tickets to Roaring Camp's annual event A Day Out With Thomas. Sal's grandmother unfortunately passed away the weekend we were supposed to go, so we sold our tickets.
This year we bought tickets again and were able to go! We got to get Thomas tattoos, face painting (which no one wanted, we opted for arm painting), take a ride on Thomas through the most beautiful redwood trees, and play in the bouncy houses. It wasn't really worth $18 a ticket but we still had fun.
Roaring Camp is beautiful place in Felton - the Santa Cruz mountains with awesome old time looking steam trains. They host a bunch of different events and put on some pretty cool shows. You can are take the train to the Boardwalk. At Christmas time you can take the train up to the top of the mountain, cut down your tree and ride back. Same for Halloween. You take the train to the top to pick your pumpkin.

Tattoos!
Of all the things she could have picked to paint on her arm
(a cute flower, a rainbow etc) she picked an alien.
This girl just REALLY looked like my sister....Agree? Disagree?
